Dororo

Daigo Kagemitsu, a warlord hungry for power, pledges the body of his unborn son to forty-eight demons in exchange for dominion. The boy is born missing forty-eight body parts and is cast into a river. Raised and fitted with prosthetic limbs and blades, he grows into the swordsman Hyakkimaru, who hunts demons to reclaim a piece of his stolen body with each one he slays. Along the way he falls in with Dororo, a brash orphan thief, and the two wander war-torn feudal Japan together.
