A first-year high school boy stumbles into the Magic Club room, where the sole remaining member — known only as Sempai — is mid-trick and mid-disaster. Sempai can pull off sleight-of-hand flawlessly in private, but stage fright turns every performance into slapstick the moment anyone watches. She recruits the reluctant boy as her assistant, and short-format episodes follow their efforts to keep the club alive through botched tricks, escaped doves, and costumes imposed by Sempai's older sister, who doubles as their faculty advisor.
