Yoh Asakura is a teenage shaman, a medium who can host spirits and channel their power, and he is chasing the title of Shaman King in a tournament held once every five hundred years. Joined by his deadpan classmate Manta Oyamada, his stern fiancée Anna Kyoyama, and his samurai spirit ally Amidamaru, he faces rival shamans and a far older threat: Hao, a centuries-old figure who wants the same crown. This 2021 remake re-adapts the manga from the start and follows its full original ending.
