Tatsuhiko Hirayama abandoned his childhood animation dream after relentless mockery from classmates, and when his band later collapsed, he swore off passion entirely. One night he runs into Nico Kashiwagi, the indie singer he once idolized in high school, and she overhears him belittling a friend's ambitions and confronts him on the spot.
