Dance in the Vampire Bund

Mina Tepes, the centuries-old queen of the vampires, goes on Japanese television to reveal her people's existence and announce the Bund — a sovereign vampire enclave she has bought off the coast of Tokyo by paying down Japan's national debt. Her bodyguard is Akira Kaburagi, a teenage classmate from a werewolf clan sworn to her family who has had his memory of that oath wiped. As humans riot, rival vampire factions move against her, and Akira is asked to remember who he really is.
