Synopsis
Mirai Kuriyama, the last of a clan of Spirit World warriors who shape their own blood into weapons, is sent to hunt youmu, creatures born from negative human emotion. On a school rooftop she meets Akihito Kanbara, a rare half-youmu who cannot die, and stabs him to test her nerve, only to find her blade useless against him. This compilation film retells the first half of the Beyond the Boundary television series, condensing Mirai and Akihito's early days at the Literary Club into a single feature.
