Synopsis
Gene Starwind and his eleven-year-old partner Jim Hawking scrape by with an odd-jobs business on the backwater planet Sentinel III until a bodyguard job for the outlaw Hilda lands them the stolen prototype ship XGP15A-II and Melfina, a bio-android who alone can pilot it. Renaming the ship the Outlaw Star and dodging the Kei Pirates, Gene sets a course for the legendary treasure cache known as the Galactic Leyline.
