Synopsis
Kazuhito Harumi, a high-schooler who lives to read novels, is shot dead trying to stop a cafe robbery and wakes up reincarnated as a dachshund. His new owner turns out to be Kirihime Natsuno, a scissor-wielding novelist who writes under the pen name Shinobu Akiyama, the very author Kazuhito idolizes, and one of the few people who can hear his thoughts. Stuck in a dog's body and unable to read, Kazuhito puts up with Kirihime's sadistic streak while staying close to the writer he admires.
