These bonus episodes return to Nanami Momozono, the human girl who became the land god of Mikage Shrine, and her fox familiar Tomoe. In one story Tomoe starts slipping away with a box he refuses to open, and Nanami, already unsure of her place at the shrine, convinces herself that nobody needs her. In another, she talks Tomoe into a single day at a hot spring and sets out to prove she can manage on her own. Both shorts ship as OVA extras alongside the manga, not as a standalone entry point.
