These bonus episodes return to Nanami Momozono, the human girl who became the land god of Mikage Shrine, and her fox familiar Tomoe. In one story Nanami overhears Tomoe muttering that he no longer needs her and spends the day trying to work out what he meant, while a hidden pair of pears hints at the answer. In another, she talks Tomoe into a single day at a hot spring and sets out to prove she can manage on her own. Both shorts ship as OVA extras alongside the manga, not as a standalone entry point.
