Taiki Inomata, a second-year at Eimei High School, wakes before dawn each day to practice badminton — the only way to get gym time before the other clubs arrive. Chinatsu Kano, the school's star basketball player two years his senior, holds the same predawn schedule. When Chinatsu's parents go overseas and she moves in with Taiki's family, Taiki must navigate early practices and club pressure while sharing a home with the girl he has been quietly hoping to get closer to since they first crossed paths in the gym.
