Synopsis
At Shuei Middle School, Kyoutaro Ichikawa — introverted 8th-grader and library regular — has let his friendship with teen model Anna Yamada drift into something he cannot put a name to. As the school year closes, he is chosen to deliver the graduation speech for the departing third-years, a public role that runs against everything he prefers. A boy named Nanjo starts paying attention to Yamada, and the coming class reshuffle for 9th grade threatens to dismantle the quiet arrangement Ichikawa and Yamada have built between the library shelves.
