Kikuru Madan, the strongest hunter at the Mebuki Town guild, is tired of spending his youth killing monsters and wants to quit for a normal life. Before he can retire, the guild receptionist Enome talks him into one more quest escorting a clumsy new martial artist, Hitamu Kyan. Hitamu's stray mana keeps luring monsters that latch onto her in compromising ways, and Kikuru finds himself stuck training a roster of underpowered, accident-prone rookies through raunchy, slapstick missions.
