Synopsis
This compilation film recaps the 2019 Fruits Basket anime and then turns to the prequel at its heart: the story of Tohru Honda's parents. Rebellious teenager Kyoko, at odds with her family and the world, meets Katsuya Honda, a young trainee teacher at her school who actually listens to her, and the two build a life and a daughter together. A short closing epilogue written by Natsuki Takaya follows Tohru after the main series.
