Synopsis
In 2035, a research accident called the Burst turns Japan's Kurobe Gorge into a sealed quarantine zone overrun by a growing synthetic mass known as Matter. Two years on, high-schooler Aiko Tachibana learns that her family vanished into the Burst and that her brain was placed into an artificial body. Joining a team of Divers led into the Matter, she sets out for the point where the Burst began, hoping to reach what remains of her family.
