Twelve-year-old Mitsuki Koyama dreams of becoming a singer, a promise tied to her first love Eichi, but a throat tumor threatens both her voice and her life. Two shinigami, Takuto and Meroko, appear to tell her she has only a year left. Mitsuki strikes a bargain with Takuto, who gives her the power to transform into a healthy sixteen-year-old so she can pass an audition and perform under the stage name Full Moon while the clock runs down on the year she has been given.
