A winter-vacation lottery sends Sakura Kinomoto to Hong Kong with Tomoyo, Kero and Syaoran, and a pull she feels on Bird Street draws her into a phantom world under the city. Waiting there is Madoushi, a sorceress Clow Reed defeated long ago, who arranged the trip herself and holds Sakura's friends until Clow answers for it. With help from Syaoran's mother, Yelan, Sakura has to stand against magic built to match the cards' own creator. The film is set between the first and second seasons of the television series.
