半分の月がのぼる空

Seventeen-year-old Yuichi Ezaki is stuck in a hospital ward recovering from hepatitis when he meets Rika Akiba, a sharp-tongued girl his age admitted for a failing heart valve. Their bickering on the rooftop and the corridors slowly turns into something closer, even as Rika's prognosis makes a future together uncertain. Set across the same small-town hospital, the two pass their days with smuggled outings and arguments over books while a risky operation draws nearer.
