Three years after a race of interdimensional beings called the Disas tore across Earth, the squad of magical girls who turned the war became known as the Magical Five. Their leader, Asuka Ootorii, has hung up her weapon to attend high school and bury the trauma of the fighting. When survivors of the Disas resurface and ordinary forces again prove useless against them, Asuka is pulled back into combat, wielding a karambit that extends into a blade able to cut through any magical defense.
