Drifting through her last year of junior high with no plans, Eruna Ichinomiya enrolls at Mikagura Academy on a whim after falling for Seisa Mikagura, a girl pictured in its brochure. She soon learns the school runs on club warfare: every student joins a culture club and battles rival clubs with special abilities to earn credits that buy better food and dorm perks. Eruna throws herself in chasing Seisa and a comfortable campus life.
