Synopsis
Yamatonokami Yasusada, a sword spirit given human form, arrives at the citadel of a Saniwa — a master who can imbue legendary blades with life as warriors called Touken Danshi. Charged with stopping a Historical Retrograde Army bent on rewriting the past, Yasusada settles into daily life among the other swordsmen between missions. The slice-of-life series leans on the household antics of the citadel more than its battles.
