Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu still hold the citadel with the rest of the Touken Danshi, swords given human form by a saniwa to keep the historical retrograde army from rewriting the past. Snowed in at the start of this three-film run, they look back on their time together, Yasusada pushes Kiyomitsu toward a trip of his own, and a new assignment arrives: survey the worlds left behind where history was already altered.
