Nyaata, a kitten, watches his older sister Nyaako fall gravely ill and slip toward death. When he drowns in the bathtub and comes to half in the spirit world, he follows Nyaako and the psychopomp Jizo and wrenches back half of her soul, leaving her alive but dull-eyed and only partly there. To recover the rest, the two siblings set out through a surreal dreamscape. This experimental short draws on Nekojiru's manga and plays out almost entirely without dialogue.
