Okamikakushi: Masque of the Wolf

Fifteen-year-old Hiroshi Kuzumi moves with his father and younger sister to Jouga, a mountain town split by a river into new and old quarters where the locals are unsettlingly welcoming. Only classmate Nemuru Kushinada keeps her distance, warning him to stay away from the old streets. As residents quietly vanish and students 'transfer away' without comment, Hiroshi begins to uncover what the town's hassaku-citrus customs are hiding, and why Nemuru patrols the night in a wolf mask.
