In a near-future Tokyo where rising crime has legalized civilian firearms, culinary student Kyohei Tachibana takes a job cooking for a group of young women who turn out to be armed mercenaries working for the organization Bailan. Among them are the gunslinger Jo, the brash Meg, the calm operator Sei, and the tech-savvy child Amy. As Kyohei tags along hoping to fund a trip to France, the team is drawn into investigating mutated, brain-glowing monsters terrorizing the city.
