Screened at the 2008 Jump Anime Tour, this short Gintama special opens as a trailer for a dramatic film that does not exist. It replays the war-era past of Gintoki Sakata, the white-haired swordsman once feared as the Shiroyasha, who fought the alien Amanto alongside Katsura, Takasugi, and Sakamoto. Once the trailer ends, the present-day Yorozuya crew turns up sitting in a movie theater, picking the whole thing apart and breaking the fourth wall as usual.
