Mikoto Misaka, the Level 5 esper called the Railgun, starts being plagued by an eerie sensation that the electricity in her own body is running backwards, as if someone is always watching her. This standalone OVA sits inside the first season's Academy City run. Mikoto, her roommate Kuroko Shirai and their friends Kazari Uiharu and Ruiko Saten set out to pin down where the feeling comes from, between lighter detours like a swimsuit company's beach simulator.
