Drawn back to Tanegashima by a strange rainbow ring he saw in the sky as a child, high-schooler Daichi Manatsu is recruited by the secret Globe organization to pilot the giant robot Earth Engine Impacter. The threat is the Kiltgang, an invading alien force that means to drain humanity's life energy to sustain its own immortality. With the Tanegashima base as their staging ground, Daichi and Globe's young pilots stand between the invaders and Earth.
