Synopsis
Yurie Hitotsubashi, a shy middle-schooler in 1980s Onomichi, wakes up one morning to find she has become a kami — a Shinto goddess — without any idea what she rules over or what her powers are. Her classmate Matsuri seizes on the news to revive her family's failing shrine, while Yurie confides in her friend Mitsue and slowly meets the other gods and spirits around the seaside town. The episodes follow her small, everyday attempts to grow into the role of a goddess.
