Synopsis
Denji is a teenager drowning in his dead father's debt, scraping by as a devil hunter alongside Pochita, a small chainsaw devil he treats as a pet. When the people he works for betray and kill him, Pochita merges with his body and revives him as a hybrid who can pull a cord in his chest to turn his head and arms into roaring chainsaw blades. Recruited into the government's Public Safety devil-hunting division under Makima, Denji is paired with the disciplined Aki Hayakawa and the reckless fiend Power. Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga keeps Denji's wants brutally simple even as the work around him turns lethal.
