Synopsis
Dr. Kenzo Tenma is a gifted Japanese neurosurgeon building a career in 1980s Germany when he defies hospital politics to operate on a critically wounded boy instead of the town's mayor. The boy, Johan Liebert, survives. Years later, a string of murders points back to Johan, now grown into a calculating killer, and Tenma is framed for the deaths. Stripped of his position and hunted by police, Tenma sets out across Germany to find the man whose life he once saved and stop what he has become.
