Sasaki, a middle-aged salaryman ground down by routine, buys a small Java sparrow for company — only to discover the bird is Piercarlo, a reincarnated Star Sage from another world who can open portals between dimensions. With Piercarlo's magic at his disposal, Sasaki starts trading goods between worlds for profit, but his new abilities draw the attention of a modern-day psychic organization tasked with containing supernatural threats.
