Synopsis
Nao Kanzaki, an honest and trusting college student, opens a package holding 100 million yen and a notice that she is now a player in the Liar Game Tournament, where contestants are pushed to deceive one another out of their money and losers take on matching debt. Out of her depth against a swindler in the first round, she turns to Shinichi Akiyama, a brilliant ex-convict con artist, to help her survive. Together they advance through rounds of higher stakes while trying to expose the organization running the game.
