Orphaned Teru Kurebayashi keeps going thanks to text messages from Daisy, an anonymous contact her late brother left her on an old cellphone. When she breaks a school window, she is roped into chores for Tasuku Kurosaki, the gruff young janitor, and slowly senses that the man scolding her and the voice on her phone may be the same person. The mystery of who Daisy is runs back to the hacking work that tied him to her brother.
