Rikuo Nura looks like an ordinary middle schooler in Ukiyoe Town, but he is one-quarter yokai and the grandson of Nurarihyon, Supreme Commander of the Nura Clan. Pressured to inherit the clan and lead its Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Rikuo would rather live as a normal human and keep his nightly yokai form hidden from his classmates. As rival yokai factions move against the Nura name, he is forced to weigh the human life he wants against the role his blood demands.
