Hikaru Kusakabe writes his own songs and plays guitar in a band, while classmate Rihito Sajou is the quiet honor student who never seems to need anyone. When Kusakabe finds Sajou alone after class, struggling to memorize the lyrics for the chorus festival, he offers to coach him. The after-hours practice sessions at their all-boys high school turn the two boys into something neither expected, as casual help slides into a first relationship for both of them.
