Synopsis
Twelve years before the main Tokyo Ghoul story, Taishi Fura is a former baseball player turned delinquent who witnesses a ghoul called Lantern attacking his friends in the 13th Ward. His classmate Kishou Arima, secretly a prodigy investigator for the Commission of Counter Ghoul, steps in and drives the ghoul off. Bent on revenge, Fura teams up with Arima to track Lantern through the ward. This short prequel shows the CCG's future 'Reaper' Arima during his high-school days.
