Dared by her twin brother to play the full-immersion VR game Second Life, nineteen-year-old Feng Lan logs in as the first player allowed to set her avatar apart from her real looks and builds a handsome male elf she names Prince. Hiding that Prince is a girl, she swears to climb the ranks without leaning on it and gathers an oddball party — the hidden moderator Lolidragon, the priest Wolf-dog, and the necromancer Doll — to fight her way up the game world.
