Synopsis
Jesus and Buddha take a vacation from the heavens and move into a cramped apartment in the Tachikawa suburbs of Tokyo, sharing rent as roommates while trying to pass as ordinary young men. Easygoing Jesus splurges on impulse and gets swept up in everything around him, while frugal, level-headed Buddha keeps the budget and unwinds with manga. Each chapter follows a slice of their daily life — public baths, shopping trips, festivals — as they marvel at modern Japan and try not to let their divine natures show.
