Synopsis
In a late Shang-era world ruled by the God Clan and its supreme deity Tian, the human King Zhou burns a divine decree and declares that humanity will no longer be slaves to the gods, igniting a war of extermination. His son Wu Geng is killed to spare him capture, but his spirit wakes in the body of a lowly beggar called Ah Gou. Climbing from slave miner to warrior among the outcast Dark Ones, Ah Gou turns his stolen second life toward toppling the gods who rule the heavens.
