Beni Fujiwara is the daughter of a rich, overbearing father she despises, and she has grown careless enough with her own life that being a kidnapping target barely moves her. That changes when Kagetora, a ninja sworn to a princess of centuries past, falls out of the sky in front of her, carried forward through time. He takes Beni for the princess he served, who has her face and her name, and pledges himself as her bodyguard, and the two are soon pulled back and forth between her era and his.
