Synopsis
Nanoka Koyanagi, a bright grade-schooler, is set a school assignment to figure out what happiness means. To answer it she turns to three people on the edges of her town: a withdrawn young woman she calls Skank-san, a teenage girl named Minami who hurts herself, and an elderly woman she knows only as Granny. Through their company Nanoka tests her own idea of a happy life.
