Tsugumi Harudori discovers she is a Demon Weapon and enrolls at the Death Weapon Meister Academy, where she joins the NOT class, set aside for students who only want to control their powers and live ordinary lives. She quickly befriends two first-year meisters, the dreamy Meme Tatane and the haughty Anya Hepburn, and the three settle into school routine. This spin-off of Soul Eater is set before the main series at the same academy.
