Eight unconnected short horror stories make up this standalone Junji Ito collection. A husband refuses to leave his futon, convinced that spirits have him surrounded. A woman fixated on an old wooden mansion marries into the family that owns it. Each piece builds dread out of an ordinary object or room before turning it grotesque.
