Cub lives in a future where mind-altering drugs are legal and dispensed at licensed pump bars, where bar doctors mix each customer a tailored chemical high. When the standard doses stop reaching him, he goes looking for an unauthorized source and is offered a new illegal compound called Ultra Heaven.
