Alice Fujii is a high schooler trapped under an abusive uncle until an assassin known only as Kumo cuts him down in front of her. Left with no family and waking in the killer's house, Alice is taken in and trained by Kumo himself, learning to fight like the spider his name means. As she climbs through a brutal underworld, she has to face the other assassins the organization sends after her, each one built around the lethal traits of a different creature.
