Fumi Manjōme moves back to her hometown near Kamakura and, on the way to her new all-girls school, reunites with Akira Okudaira, her best friend from kindergarten. Shy and recently hurt by a first love, Fumi leans on the warm, dependable Akira as the two re-enter each other's lives. At her school Fumi is drawn to Yasuko Sugimoto, a poised older student, and a tentative first relationship begins in this slow yuri drama of girls' schools and shifting feelings.
