Sorata Kanda gets exiled to Sakura Hall, the dorm where his arts school dumps its oddest students, after he refuses to give up a stray cat. He plans to earn his way back to a normal dorm until Mashiro Shiina moves in: a world-renowned painter so helpless at daily life that she cannot dress or feed herself. Saddled with looking after her, Sorata becomes Mashiro's reluctant caretaker amid the dorm's restless residents.
