Sorata Kanda gets exiled to Sakurasou, the dorm where his arts school parks its oddest students, after he refuses to give up a stray cat. The second-year plans to earn his way back to a normal dorm until Mashiro Shiina moves in: a world-renowned painter so helpless at daily life that she cannot dress or feed herself. This light novel follows Sorata as he is saddled with looking after Mashiro among Sakurasou's restless residents.
