ピアノの森

Kai Ichinose, a boy growing up in a red-light district, slips into the nearby forest at night to play an abandoned piano that no one else can coax a sound from. When transfer student Shuhei Amamiya, son of a famous pianist, is dared to play that same forest piano, the two meet and Kai's raw, untrained talent astonishes him. Sosuke Ajino, their school's music teacher and once a concert pianist himself, hears Kai play and resolves to draw him toward proper training, even as Kai resists refining a style that is entirely his own.
