Raised in the mountains and trained in swordplay since childhood, Yoichi Karasuma is sent by his father to the city to sharpen his spirit by living with the Ikaruga family, who run the Ukiha Divine Wind Style dojo. Naive about modern life and oblivious around women, Yoichi boards with the four Ikaruga sisters, led by stern assistant headmistress Ibuki. Between his clumsy attempts to fit into school and home, rival schools start targeting both Yoichi and the dojo.
