Synopsis
In a future where humanity lives in cramped underground villages, the hotheaded Kamina dreams of reaching the surface, while the timid digger Simon keeps his head down. When Simon unearths a small face-shaped mecha called a Gunmen and a fiery gunslinger named Yoko bursts in from above, the two boys break through to a world ruled by Beastmen and their war machines. This manga adaptation retells the Gurren Lagann story with reordered events and added character backstory.
